Dillon Pace was born in Staten Island, New York and grew up playing shows and producing acts in the Williamsburg, Brooklyn music scene.[1][2] In 2009 he met multi-platinum producer Toby Gad who signed him to Gad Songs, a joint venture between Toby Gad, EMI Music Publishing and David Sonenberg.[3][4][5]
Dillon has collaborated with such producers, songwriters and artists as: Mikal Blue, Toby Gad, Warren Huart, Jon Ingoldsby, Mandi Perkins, Lemar, Lola Blanc, The Veronicas, Paloma Faith, Lindy Robins, Alexz Johnson, Ashley Tisdale, Greyson Chance, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Emily Osment, Allstar Weekend & Allison Iraheta.[6][7]
Dillon founded the band of Verona with Mandi Perkins in the summer of 2010.[8][9] The bands EP, Fall Like Roses, was released in the summer of 2011, with their debut album, The White Apple currently in the works.[10][11] MTV named the band one of their artists to watch for in 2011, stating that if you like melodic rock and roll with great female vocals like Florence & The Machine, you’ll definitely dig of Verona.[12][13]
